On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, Mme Lu Xu, the Chinese Consul General in Calgary sends season's greetings in the video broadcasted on OMNI. 

In 2021, China withstood the dual pressures of centennial global changes and a once-in-a-century pandemic, and successfully achieved the first centennial goal to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects. In 2022, China will take the Beijing Winter Olympics as a beginning of a new journey towards the second centennial goal of realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.  China is willing to work together with all other countries, including Canada, to meet the challenges and create a better and shared future for mankind.
