The Chinese Consulate General in Calgary will outsource the authentication service to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center from August 1, 2018

To better the service of its consular authentication (legalization), the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Calgary will outsource their authentication service to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) in Calgary from August 1, 2018.

 

Starting from that date, the consular authentication (legalization) applications of Canadian citizens as well as third-country citizens should be submitted to the CVASC in Calgary, only if the the documents have already been authenticated by ministry of justice of Alberta, Saskatchewan or Northwest Territory. All the applicants should submit their application documents either by themselves or by their agents according to the authentication requirements stated on the CVASC's official website (https://bio.visaforchina.org/YYC2_EN/).

 

The service provided by CVASC includes receiving applications, fees collection, document release and inquiries. Application assessment and issuance of the authentication certificates remain in the authority of the consular officials.

 

Chinese citizens may choose to make their Consular authentication (legalization) to  the Chinese Consulate General or CVASC in Calgary.

 

The CVASC in Calgary will charge a service fee to ensure its proper operation and high-quality service.
